Excellent for Emergency Water Storage
I bought a rack that holds ten five-gallon water bottles like this and filled them with filtered tap water through a Camco RV garden hose filter. I next added the preservative that keeps the water safe for drinking for the next five years (eight drops per gallon). I then bought a couple of inexpensive water taps that fit on a five gallon bottle. Store in a cool, shaded place. The result was 50 gallons of available drinking water. I also am going to use two thirty-gallon drums and that should be enough work for any emergency. I will also have three to five cases of bottled water. I also have two Jackery electric generators, and thirty plus days worth of food and some key tools. That should get me through any emergency.
