We decided we needed to give it a try! Let me tell you, WOW! First of all, the cap was easy to open! That may not seem like much but, for someone with wrist pains, that's a big plus! There is a mark on the inside of the cap for easy measuring with no guessing. Our kids got these little sand timers from the dentist for brushing their teeth so we used those to time ourselves. It was almost like we were challenging each other to see who could last the longest because frankly, most mouth washes burn your mouth and make you want to spit them out early! We poured our cups into our mouths and immediately looked at each other in surprise! It didn't burn at all! In fact, we really enjoyed it! It is now a "family affair" and we all take time to swish together. The after effects are amazing, the fresh and clean feeling lasts for hours! Crest Pro Health Multi Protection genuinely feels like it is in fact, "protecting" our pearly whites. We had our checkups at the dentist just yesterday and, he was completely happy with the health of mouths. There was very little plaque buildup, and overall he said he thought our teeth seemed whiter and our mouths were cleaner! If you're on the fence about this product, jump off of it and get get yourself some Crest! You won't regret it! Don't take my word for it, just look at that smile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crest Pro-Health line of dental care are some pretty solid products. However, this one may not be for me, though it could be completely down to my body chemistry. I feel it works as promised but just leaves an unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth. Read on for more detail- I was pleased to have the opportunity to use the Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse in conjunction with my normal Pro-Health Whitening Toothpaste. The rinse (I still call it mouthwash) promises 12-hour protection against cavities and plaque build-up without the dreaded alcohol burn. I used it each morning for a week. I usually get up, have a cup of coffee and breakfast, and then brush my teeth before I leave for work. For a week I followed my morning brush with the Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse. The clean feeling was definitely there. I could do the whole swish without having the sting of alcohol. Initially, it was pleasantly minty. However, the taste would "turn" 30 minutes after use. I found this perplexing. After a few days or seriously strange breath after brushing and rinsing, I started to wonder if maybe it was something I was eating for breakfast that was interacting with the Pro-Health rinse. I eliminated the Stevia in my coffee, the creamer in my coffee, and then eventually the coffee itself. Even though I drink enough water I was still having issues with a strange and very unpleasant aftertaste developing 30 minutes after use, even after eliminating my morning coffee. Based on other reviews it appears I am in the minority. I would have used the product more consistently had it not been for the aftertaste. I would recommend this based on the performance, saying that if you are lucky enough not to have the dreaded aftertaste, Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse is indeed very effective at leaving your mouth feeling clean without any sort of sting or burn from harsh alcohols or menthols.
