(5 pack) Eagle Claw 014H-8 Trout Rig, Bronze, Size 8 Hook

Over the summer, I tied my own (similar) trout rig, and it took me about twenty minutes! Granted, it was my first time, and everything takes more time the first time you try it, but this trout rig from Eagle Claw is a real time-saver! I just received it in the mail, and haven't tried it yet, but it's pretty obviously well-made and sturdy enough to catch a 12 inch trout. Can't wait to test it!

I make my own leaders, but the rest of the rig is great. I have caught a LOT of trout with these rigs. I use 4lb fluorocarbon and %2310 hooks for my leaders. Good quality.

These rigs are always an easy go-to for me. I fish in the streams of Colorado, mainly for trout.

Perfect for fishing

I saw five fishermen fishing side-by-side and the only one with success was the fisherman with this rig. So, I went home and brought six for myself. Can't wait to use it like the man that showed me his rig. See the attached picture!!!

Simple to use, effective, add a weight.

This is a good, sturdy rig. The only problem is, it tangles really bad, and when your bait or lures tangle, you dont catch fish. I fished this in a pond stocked with rainbows and I didnt get even a nibble. I dont recommend this product cause of the bad tangles, and the weight of the rig itself. Thats why it gets 1 star.
