I love grits, especially the butter or the cheese so much you can do with them. I love them for breakfast lunch snack I just like them can you notice that lol top it with your favorite vegetable or seafood or meat you have a nice hearty meal that makes you feel full
These are just as good as Quaker brand and I like the butter flavor because everyone can add their favorite toppings (cheese, bacon bits, etc.) and I don't have to buy 3 different kinds.
I no long buy any other type of grits. They're not artificial tasting and the texture reminds me of my cooked grits. Sometimes I add a slice of cheese or add a scrambled egg.
I have been buying these for so many years. I absolutely love them. There is no difference between these and a "name brand." Thay are so good. we I honestly can't tell the difference between these and the pricier ones. I've been using this brand for years now ans will definitely be sticking with these. There is nothing better than adding cheese to make a good warm bowl of cheese grits! So good! add cheese ans make a good warm bowl of cheese grits!
I love to make homemade buttermilk biscuits, I also like to cook my great value butter grits and on my last fold of my raw dough I will fill each biscuit with the cooked butter grits and place in iron pan until golden. All day long someone will always slide by and for sure enjoy a butter grits homemade biscuit.
The Great Value Butter Instant Grits is great to have on hand when you are on a time crunch. I make this flavor of grits for myself or when I don't feel like cooking. My husband likes to eat this brand of grits when he is not feeling well or if it is very cold outside. A packet of grits, a half cup of hot water, and 1 minute in the microwave equals awesome. It tastes just as good as other brands, but way cheaper.
I usually buy grits that you cook. I saw these instant grits and decided to give them a try. They are actually pretty good. Just add water and stir like instant oatmeal. I bought the butter flavor. I may go back and try the other flavors they have, which I believe are bacon and cheese. Really a good value.
These instant grits are so good. They're very quick and easy, but taste like it took you a while to cook. The butter flavor is so creamy. It doesn't taste artificial like most name brands. These grits allow me to feed my family wholesome food without breaking the bank or skip it out on the good quality. I hope you will give these a try. Who says that you have to have grits just for breakfast. Shrimp and grits is another dish I use these for. Grab a box and try you will not be disappointed.
I like these instant grits better than the Quaker brand. Cheaper cost. I add a little more butter and cheese when I cook them in the microwave. Be sure to add your salt to the water before pouring your packet in a bowl. Makes a great patty sausage and egg bowl and that cheese takes it up a notch.
I found these grits to be very convenient, they're nice so you can choose one packet or two packets depending on the quantity you would like to have. they have a nice texture they're not gritty at all they're a little low in the flavor department compared to national brands. but overall I would recommend them.
