This Brand is Good

Sherry May 5, 2026

A must have in my home. I can eat mac and cheese everyday. However, my son has me hooked on baked macaroni over stove top. I use a variety of cheese mixed together. I have to flavor the noodles while cooking in hot water with a tad of regular or garlic salt.

What can I say about …. ? 🥴

Alice May 16, 2026

I make excellent mac %26 cheese. I will not tell you how I make my cheese sauce. It's a secret and I have a secret ingredient. However, I do use these elbows because it doesn't matter what elbows you use you can't taste any difference. And these are very reasonably priced.

Love Letter From a Carb Lover

anonymous June 14, 2026

I've purchased several varieties of this pasta, and every one has been a great addition to our pantry. The quality is consistently good, the texture cooks up perfectly, and it holds sauce well whether I'm making simple weeknight dinners or larger family meals. From spaghetti and penne to rotini and elbow pasta, we've been happy with every type we've tried. One of the biggest reasons I'm giving this pasta 5 stars is the value. It's affordable without sacrificing taste or quality, making it easy to keep multiple varieties stocked at all times. It cooks evenly, doesn't become mushy when prepared according to the package directions, and provides a reliable base for countless recipes. For families looking for a budget-friendly pantry staple, this pasta is hard to beat. It's versatile, dependable, and consistently delivers great results. We'll definitely continue buying it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good-quality pasta at a great price.

Great Taste that Goes Further

Kelly June 30, 2026

The things I like the most about this elbow macaroni are its taste and how much it swells up. The taste is nice and so is the texture. But, in my opinion, the amount of swelling up during boiling is quite a bit more than some brands that cost much more. This is a high quality pasta, and, in my experience, it goes further than the big name brands. I love this made into pasta salad as well as just with marinara sauce.

Excellent elbow macaroni

Antaiis June 16, 2026

I just used these to make a stewed tomato macaroni dinner and yum! These are great elbows I used lots of spices to spice them up with the tomatoes, onions ,smoked paprika and cheese and will probably put in more vegetables next casserole I make. These will make a good pasta salad.

Great value and cooks perfectly

Jennifer April 17, 2026

These elbow noodles are a great value and work perfectly for all kinds of meals. They cook evenly, hold their shape well, and have a good texture. I haven't noticed any difference compared to name brands. Great for mac and cheese, pasta salads, or quick dinners. Definitely a pantry staple!

Great Elbow for Mac and Cheese!

Lisa April 20, 2026

This is the only Elbow mac I use in my homemade mac and cheese. So easy to make, I boil the whole box not boiled apart, drain, spray a pan lightly with Great Value Vegetable spray, add a TB of butter and salt to taste, add a few shakes of paprika, add 2 bags of Great Value mild and 1 Colby Jack shredded Cheese, one small box of heavy cream, mix well and cook for 30 minutes on 350 degrees. Guys this is good, the Colby Cheese is out of this world added to the mild. I created this new mac and cheese by accident last Thanksgiving, I only had 1 1/2 bags of mild cheese and a whole bag of Colby/Jack. I threw it in and there was none left at all, it was the first to go and even my mom came back wanting more and asked what did I do to my mac and cheese, it was great!

No White Water

Jackie April 3, 2026

I always buy the Great Value elbow macaroni. I use it for goulash, macaroni salad, and my favorite baked macaroni and cheese. All the flavors adhere to the macaroni. It's never stale or starchy, so you won't end up with white water and mushy pasta. Nobody wants that. Plus, the price is on point! Highly recommended.

good for generic

Brad May 11, 2026

is over positive taste good for a generic pasta. Pasta should never be more than a dollar a pound unless it's fresh. I like to keep elbows in the house for when the neighbor's kids stop by for elbows and catsup or in my tomato soup. Elbow macaroni also tastes awesome with chilli.

It wasn't the product... it is Walmart. I have been a faithful customer for decades, however I'm done with their lies. You see they took $98.00 out of my checking account on the 18th of April 2026. This is supposed to be for delivery fees for one year; however they still charge me a $9.95 fee every time I order groceries. They said they would refund my money, but have not. I am a senior citizen, living on social security and need this service not only for groceries, but my medication (prescriptions) as well... shame on you!
