Besides myself which I love them , I feed the squirells. Of them I call Dolly and if there are no peanuts out she stands up at the window and scolds me. Its very entertaining. And in a nursing home we welcome all of that.I love that I can order them and I get them the same day or the next.
Well the Ravens must like them just as much as I do because I have made a few fine feathered friends leaving a few here and there on walks! But I get my share in, peanuts in the shell are so much better and bring me back to a time I loved as a child eating these,as they went far, took away the pangs, and kept ya busy!
When I ordered online, I wasn’t sure how big the 20oz. bag of salted and roasted in shell peanuts would be, so I ordered two. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the actual size of the bag. We had plenty of peanuts to shell and snack on. I will buy again.
i eat em for the healthy protein these are my go to snack ao i don't eat unhealthy chips and so on they're versatile...eat em with raisins or with honey. salty enough to replace chips, versatile enough to replace cookies, cheap enough to keep buying.
In my life, I eat a lot of peanuts in the shell, and having a bag like these is perfect for me. I enjoy eating these and simply tossing the shells in the yard, and with such a salty and crisp taste to each one, it is a pleasure finding these for a nice and unique price. I love them so much, they are superb, and to get them for less since they are Great Value-- double-win!
These roasted peanuts were not only delicious, but were a great value as well. It was hard to believe that you get six bags of 20 ounces for such a low price. I have shared them with friends, who are now purchasing these peanuts. I love them!
These are a good snack for Protein. Especially if your trying to watch your snack and goodie intake. For me on a GLP1, I sometimes get cravings for snacks or just need a pick-me-up between meals and this does the trick. They are delicious with just the right amount of salt.
Because of genetic defects, I can only eat meat, eggs, dairy, potatoes, beets and peanuts, so peanuts are an important part of my diet, and I eat a bagful a week. I tend to eat inexpensive generic everything, all unprocessed, so I really don't have a good feel for the quality of other brands of peanuts. I am not an expert on peanuts at all, but I have theories about what causes the occasional quality problems. I think some peanuts from the previous year's harvest get stuck in the bins and the machinery and are carelessly sold as fresh; they are rancid. Some peanuts taste terrible, and when you look at the inside of the cast off shell, you see what looks like black mold, so I guess they weren't stored in a dry place. Many shells are broken and the peanut missing, which would be OK if they fell out in the bag during shipping and handling, but there seems to be a big discrepancy between empty shells and loose peanuts in the bottom of the bag. Basic rule of thumb, don't eat it if it doesn't look kosher. So why do I keep buying them if they are so bad? Well, after you learn to recognize the bad peanuts and not bother to eat them, There are still plenty of good peanuts left, enough to be a good value compared to buying a name brand, and mind you, there is no guarantee the name brand won't have the same problems.
For me, the pricing was very acceptable, almost attractive for the the amount in the bag, but I found the peanuts OVER-roasted, making the peanuts taste a little bitter and the texture a tad too crunchy and dry. Many of the peanuts looked dark, not light-colored and shrunken in their shell. After taking longer than normal consuming 1/2 the bag, I debated throwing the rest in the trash. My son generally likes eating peanuts in the shell but he stayed away from these. Maybe, it was just a bad batch but the experience makes me hesitant to buy again just to find out.
I've bought a lot of these lately and have been buying them because of the size of the bag. However, the size of the peanuts themselves, are pretty pathetic! The majority of peanuts in the last bag I bought were so small, that I have decided to switch to another brand.
