I was satisfied with this product (an extension cord) but I was not satisfied by the shipment of the product. Had I known it was going to be shipped I would have removed it from my order and waited until it came back in stock locally. It's wasteful to ship such an insignificant item, if I would've needed it immediately, it came too late. But I did not need it immediately and would've preferred to wait until it was in stock at my store.
Wonderful extension cord, does as advertised for a cheap price. Though, its only compatible with two-pronged plugs. Simple, cost efficient, and effective. Excuse the glaze, but I'm a student living in a small dorm room. So this really came in handy.
These are very well made, very sturdy extension cords. They're long enough to use in the living room or bedroom. The polarized plugs fit all the way into the socket. I bought this and threw out an extension cord that had a cheap hard plastic socket head and the plugs wouldn't go all the way into the sockets. These are rated for 1625 W and have a sliding cover that will cover the unused sockets. I use these for everything.
I realized I had electric cords older than my children. Old styles I used year after year. I decided to give myself the gift of safety by buying new cords for the Christmas decorations and lights. Can't get them all at once but every payday just buying one and getting rid of the old worn out cords around the house. I was surprised how nice, heavy duty and well made they are made now. New houses have plenty of outlets but those of us with older houses need a few new electrical cords for all the items using electricity today which we never even dreamed up way by when! ")
Just what I needed and in black. I don't like the white extension cords because they are too visible. Green? Matches nothing. So I chose black since it doesn't call attention to itself. It's strong, sturdy, and I'm pleased with my purchase.
The female receptacles are loose on most of the 15 extension cords I ordered. I expected a tighter fit for a male plug when inserted. Some male plugs even fell out, not a good fit. I ended up using electrical tape to secure the male plugs. I know these are indoor cords but when used outdoors the cord opening has gap that lets water in. Even cheap indoor extension cords usually have the cord opening sealed up tight. On a side note, I ordered 15 twelve ft cords. I only got 14, plus one six ft cord. Oh well! So based on the looseness of the connections, I do not recommend these extension cords.
IT i s not the fault of the manufacturer. I had someone order it for me and I asked for a power strip cord and they misunderstood and got this. IF you wanted this it might be great. I wanted UL listed too and I did not see that on the package or cord.
This item I had purchased a couple weeks before Christmas used once to plug in just the tree used it for five mins an smelled something like it was burning so unplugged it an found the cord melted an prongs burnt . Threw it away ! Will never purchased this again
I originally ordered a 5 pack of 12 ft cords and received four 12 ft cords and one 6 ft cord. This is a replacement for the 6 ft cord and I was charged $6.99 shipping because the order was under $35.00, I was told the $6.99 would be waived because of the error. I have repeatedly contacted customer service and have not yet been compensated. The original order and this order was placed and received on 4/1/26 and I have been told I will be compensated it is now 4/7/26 and no compensation yet and all of the time that I have spent trying to get through to the customer service AI bot will not be compensated for. I suggest they call it Walmart customer lack of service. Bet this review won't be posted!
I got this item May 22nd 2026 I have not used it until today which is July 23rd this item is horrible the extension cord does not work I'm charging up my phone and I have to move the cord around for the extension cord to work I would not recommend this extension cord I have to buy a new one to compensate which is ugh.......
