The product worked like it was supposed to. I was surprised how small they were. The chickens were interested in using them the first day I put them in, but after that, they didn't want to use it not sure why. it was good that they didn't leak and I didn't have to use tape.

I converted a waterer with cups to nipples. They worked perfectly! My chickens learned right away. The water doesn't leak out any longer!

These horizontal drinking nipples are a very good product. I'm using them for my chickens. The nipples drip very little and are better than the vertical nipples that are mounted to the bottom of a pail, and they allow me to heat the water to keep it from freezing during the winter. For installation, drill holes in the side of a pail with a 11/32" drill bit and turn them in with a crescent wrench. Water warming system: having side-mounted nipples allows me to rest the pail on a heater setup: I have an open cement block (half of a cinder block) under the pail, inside the cinder block I have light socket with a reptile heater "bulb" turned into the socket (electric is GFI protected). Works for me just fine, use at your own risk.

These work great. No more poop in water. They used nipples right away.
