[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a chocolate lover's dream! I gave one who loves chocolate so much that she used to hide hers from her kids. She couldn't believe some thing that taste so good and filling can be good for you. I agree 100%.
If you're looking for a quick bite and energy boost in the morning, these will fit perfectly into your routine. In addition, the fiber helps If you don't regularly get enough, as well as helps keep your digestive tract moving haha. The low amount of fat and saturated fat, reasonable amount of carbs and high protein make this bar and excellent choice for anyone looking for more energy and to feel more full during the day.
This is probably my favorite go-to afternoon snack. The flavor is delicious. No weird after-taste. This is a MUST TRY if you're counting macros. I actually tried one from a convenience store before buying a box, but now i keep these in my desk at work.
Although I love this flavor, I find it to be a bit sweet unless I am in the mood for dessert. As mentioned in my previous reviews, the low-fat saturated fat, high protein and reasonable amount of carbs combined with a decent amount of fiber keeps your digestive tract moving and is a healthy alternative to many other snacks and meals.
IMO, Quest has some great tasting products out there but I did not find this to be one of them. They taste "as to be expected" and that is of no fault to Quest. There is a reason why we love food that is less than healthy for us; Quest took that reason out and gave us these. They do contain a high amount of fiber which, if I could force one down, would be the top reason to ingest them. They get 3 stars for their marketing (they look amazing) and fiber content.
This flavor of the Quest bar has aleays been my favorite. However, in the last few months, the flavor, the taste and the appearance of the bar has varied from one box to another. The taste and texture, in general has really changed for the worse. In addition, the cost has gone way up. I will never buy them again because I never know what I am going to get.
ARE YOU SERIOUS?? I JUST BOUGHT THIS AT $ 24 HERE ON WALMART . I WENT TO REORDER AND ITS DOUBLE THE PRICE??!!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. WON'T BUY QUEST EVEY AGAIN
Got these as a replacement for the brownie batter built puff bars. These don't taste anything like a brownie. These don't feel like a brownie, or even cake. They barely hint at chocolate. They are dry and disgusting. I had to force myself to finish just one of them. I can't imagine forcing myself to eat the rest of the two boxes they brought me. The built puff bars are great. I get them as replacements for candy bars when I get that urge for something sweet, chocolatey and good. These are absolute not going to cut it. These are not a joy to eat, they are a chore. I will literally have to force myself to eat these. It will probably take a few years or an absolute desperate need for protein. It will not be pleasant.
These taste horrible. I should've known because all the quest bars I've tried were nasty. I thought I was ordering blueberry muffins because that's what's pictured on the label.
The Quest Cookies %26 Cream protein bar used to be my favorite on the market. Unfortunately, the most recent box I purchased tastes like the recipe or ingredients have changed. What was once a flavorful bar that truly lived up to its name now has a bland, almost flavorless taste with a soft, chalky, Play-Doh–like texture. The cookies and cream pieces, which used to actually add flavor, now only seem to provide a slight change in texture rather than taste. I won't be purchasing this again, which is disappointing because it was a go-to for me for a long time. Sad to have to start looking for a new protein bar after being a loyal customer.
