This will catch almost anything that swims. I've caught bass, catfish, perch, crappie and bluegills. Chartreuse is good all purpose color. I had to flatten the spinner blade a bit to get it to spin reliably for slow retrieve. The paint chips easily but the fish don't seem to notice. The hooks are small so you might miss bites.

Great price, I won't be upset when it gets snagged on weeds or sticks in my local ponds. Most popular color for muddy waters of Kansas. Good option for crappie spawn.

This was on sale for a buck, so I thought I'd try out a couple of them. They look like another brand which costs around 5 bucks, but that's about it. I had to monkey around with pliers to get the geometry to the point where these would spin right, and it would only do so about 75% of the time. The skirt is thinner than optimal. But for a buck, what did I expect? It got the 3-star only because the treble hook is decent, the weight is close enough and the colors are very close to higher cost versions. These are good to give kids to snag in tree limbs, or if you fish an area that's known for wrecking lures, or something in that vein. If you want a "fish-getter", I don't think this is the one. Again, one buck each.
