More slick than linen as far as texture goes, so not exactly for formal occasions. The adhesive strips came off easily and there was no transparency through the envelope to see the interior print on the card. Ink from my pen spread evenly and looked crisp.
Definitely did the job in a pinch! During Christmas, our cards arrived with the envelopes already sealed-I'm guessing from imprinting the return CT
I love these envelopes. My cards were smaller however it was for a Christmas project I am working on. I had a glass beaded bracelet to put in with the card and that made the envelopes the perfect size.
It is very helpful to have these envelopes. They are a good size and shape for the cards I wish to mail. They arrived in good condition.
Very nice heavy quality. Just have to get used to end opening. Use it for home computer generated cards.
These envelopes are a great price and are nice because they are self sealing. So you don't have to lick them.

Good 5x7 envelopes for cards and invitations. The size is accurate and it seals well. It would be a perfect 5 stars if it was not see through, but it's still a good envelope at a great value and I'd buy it again.
