I replaced the plastic ones with these, this will help me from having to climb up a ladder, especially now that I'm getting older.
These clips were good quality at a good price. I was actually preparing to install gutter guards and noted the gutters along the front of the house would no longer accommodate the Christmas light hooks I've used for years after I installed gutter guards. These clips fit perfectly under the front edge of the gutter guards and will help allow Christmas lights to be easily installed this winter.
These are great. I had plastic clips that I used for my outdoor solar led string lights and after two years in our Wisconsin climate they started cracking. These metal clips fit nicely on the lip of my gutters. The clip that you attach the string to is designed for narrow string or wire or Christmas lights. I have thicker cords on my LED string lights (thick like an outdoor extension cord), and I had to force the wires in, but with that said, they're holding up nicely and I'm sure they'll last a long time.
I thought these fall of in the first storm. All are attached after several serious storms. Fantastic.
Much better than the plastic ones I had before. Plastic ones wouldn't last and break easy. These were the perfect solution.
