decent cheapo little A/C unit works best in a smaller room follow the guide on the box it will help works better then i expected it does feel cheap in parts but overall i can't complain for the money love the fact it has a sensor remote (means it will keep temperature to the remote not the unit) filter does look a little annoying to get in and out but over all no issues
I love it !!!! It took few minutes kick in but I live in trailer and central air went out so got one in my living room/ kitchen then in my sons rooms I just needed one for theirs just wish it came with with some type of screw support bracket and better insulation for ac unit because these are not cheap
I have central air in my tiny apartment but when the vents were put in the nasty crawl space dirt comes into the house causing us breathing issues so I shut it down last September and haven’t used it since. I bought this window unit it’s in my window now it cools my bedroom so amazing and keeps humidity down. I have less asthma attacks to allergies now that I’m using a window unit. The black color looks amazing too. I need to get one for my sons room now.
This a/c is perfect. It cools my office perfectly. I love the color as the room is all white. The remote is nice to have so I don't have to stop what I'm doing to turn it on. There's a energy efficent button and even a button to turn off the led on the panel.
The motor broke down ten days after installation. This happened to two units we purchased. I will say, however, the replacement process was very easy but you must buy the warranty plan which is inexpensive and well worth it. We had a new air conditioner within four days!
Only brand in stock at my local Walmart. Had never heard of it before and I would not recommend. First: HUGE design flaw! There are NO drain holes on the bottom of this unit. So if you live somewhere that sees near constant rain like I do, you are going to be opening the window daily and tilting this thing almost completely sideways to drain that water because if you don’t, that fan blade is going to be sloshing through water and not working properly. I’m worried that long term, it is going to grow mold/mildew because it cannot properly drain and air out. Second: Low speed is incredibly loud. Something clunks around at low and it does not enable a good night of rest. Medium and High, the sound goes away. Third: the lights! They are so bright, we had to put some of the foam with adhesive on it over the panel. It’s ridiculous. Finally: It’s ok. Doesn’t stay as cold as previous brands (name brands) that I have used before. It does, however, stay cooler through the night than the manual version of this same brand. Can’t say much about the remote- don’t really use it to be honest. If I’d had a choice, I’d have gotten something better, but as this was the only brand available at the time, and I just moved somewhere with zero a/c, it was this or be hot, which is not conducive to a good nights rest. All in all, I don’t recommend unless it’s the only thing they’ve got or the only thing in your budget. Next year, I will be getting something different and likely a portable.
It does cool the room and I like the black color and the remote is nice, but out of the box it immediately makes a grinding noise, I've used a lot of window ACs and they don't typically make that sound so I am returning it. I have never bought or heard of this brand, this may just be a lemon but it's not a good first experience.
Complete waste of money. I bought two of these in which both had the same issue. The filters being completely stuck inside to the point you can not take them out or even put them back in. Once you try it will completely tear to the point of no more use for the whole ac because without the filter how can you use it? I reach out to the actual company of the unit to get a replacement filter sent to me. Ironically all units having the same issue and they have no possibilities of replacements for anything. Wouldn’t issue me a refund or even offer to send me two new units to compensate for the defective ones. Would absolutely rate this a 0 out of 5 stars if it was possible.
Purchased for my bedroom which isn't very big and it barely gets the room cool. My baby is sweating as I'm typing this with no cover on her. It's in the low 80s outside and I'd hate to have to use this when the temps reach the high 90s. We're screwed.
It doesn't actually cool the room it's still hot and the room is so small it's like the size of a closet is a little office room and it's still hot in there so I don't recommend this
