No real basis for 5 stars as I can't compare it to other ssds. It certainly performs much better than the old spinning disk drive I robbed from an old laptop. It's installed in a desktop ( with several other OS) and I loaded Debian 13 on it. Runs great.

Exactly what I needed, and it arrived in one day. The SSD on one of my firewalls was DOA and needed to be replaced ASAP. The disk is very fast and picked up by the firewall by name and model. No issues installing it and I was back in business in no time. The price was perfect and a great value for the money. If an SSD is needed quickly, this is it! I fully recommend this product.

Replaced old 500GB 5400RPM 5V SATA 3gb/s inside HP 14-b109mw laptop running Windows 8. This new 128GB arrived preformatted w/partition. After setup in UEFi/bios, I ghosted Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon via USB flash/Rufus ISO....bloatware free. Reduced cold boot from 3 mins to 34sec. Like an almost new laptop. Apps read substantially faster. Lower voltage (1.45V typical), runs cooler, lower fan use, silent vs spinning HDD (results after 17 days of use). See attached photos of both old %26 new replacement. My latency now comes from the whopping 4GB RAM %26 2.4GB Wi-Fi card, both impossible to upgrade without bricking the logic board %26 fan. Still good for my use: lite spreadsheets, Libre Office, Firefox browsing, streaming HBO Max, Nextdoor. Walmart delivery was astounding, good tracking, communication, follow through.

Arrived in perfect condition and recognized by the PC without any effort. Increased system performance exponentially. Highly recommend for a new operating system rebuild or any application that you need. Love it.

I have had this for several months with no issues. I have a bad habit of distro hopping and have already installed over 5 different operating systems and the drive is still working like new.

Shipping, packaging, and installation couldn't be better. No problems at all. Set up as dual boot Kubuntu drive and for flawless operation. Thanks, highly recommend.

This drive is a capable storage option, especially in the current tech desert created by the rise of AI and companies over zealous attempt to capitalize on it.

The KEXIN SSD seems to work fine, was as advertised. The small instruction sheet was in what I assume is Chinese. The disk needs to be initialized, create the partition, and formatted. Not a problem for me, but some might wonder why it dosen't work when it's just plugged in to their computer.

Substituted . Drive received was not the brand shown when bought. Ordered Kexin and received Topesel.

I had this for 3 months . The SSD was fairly expensive for 256 GB. and worked well until the third month then just malfunctioned and completely stoped working . SSD drives should last much longer than 3 months . I have other external USB SSD that have lasted for years and probably will not malfunction for at least 10 years or so . This isn't what I expected from Walmart sellers , and as far as I can tell there is no warranty on these because there isn't any real contact info with a place that's actually in China . No US contact center for Walmart buyers isn't very useful . I don't recommend this product or buying from sellers with no US offices for customer support. Doesn't Walmart have a regular contact for these overseas sellers ?
