5.5 Cu. ft Chest Freezer

Wonderful size! Small enough to tuck into our tiny laundry room and yet plenty roomy inside for a couple of foodies, who entertain a lot! Oh yah and we transported it on a 14 hour move mid year. Kept it up-right, let it settle overnight, plugged it back in and its still running perfect.

I bought this 3 weeks ago and I love it. I was running out of space in our fridge's freezer since I started making food for my 13 month old and freezing it. It's very roomy for a small freezer and I like the basket and raised ledge in the freezer

I bought this freezer a month and like the other Danby freezers and products I have bought this one is just a great as the others.

My first Danby lasts about 8 years. This is the second one. Hope it will last longer that the former one.

We have only had the freezer a few weeks. It's running well, it does gurgle so I don't believe we'd ever keep it where we could hear it from our bedroom. My Hubs has to keep ice packs cold for joints and some physical issues, so it is opened often. So far it has not affected the temp. It was dropped off in front of our home and we easily carried it down stairs and indoors. We are well pleased!

I have only had my freezer for a month but so far, I love it! It is styled nicely, it is compact and holds a lot for its size. It works well, although I ended up setting the temperature dial back from the recommended 2 o'clock position to the 12 o'clock position to prevent my bread from drying out quickly and possible freezer burn. I love it and hope to have it for a very long time!

Still working after one year of use. Only problem is that the exterior light that tells you it's working rarely works so I need to lift the lid just to make sure.

Great freezer for a great price. The grill that separates the right side doesn't fit properly and falls out but overall, a great buy!

I researched small chest freezers before purchasing this one. Yes, its a nice size, comes with one basket and fits in my laundry room. Holds just what I need for extra freezer space. I noticed it seemed to be running all the time. So I called Danby. Had repair guy out here.The door seal hinge needed to be adjusted. Worked fine, but now less than 2 months later I am finding its runs too much again. if I place a heavy object on top of the door, it doesnt run as much.The seal probably needs to be adjusted again. If they could just fix the seal I would be a very happy camper! Calling Danby tomorrow.
