The cage's price is reasonable. However, the cage is not very sturdy and requires reinforcement with approximately 200 zip ties. The flooring is not paw-friendly as advertised, so I installed vinyl flooring on all levels except half of the bottom to provide a designated area for my rats' waste. The doors lack secure closures and can be easily pushed open, requiring additional clips at the top and bottom. There is a one-inch gap between the doors when closed, making it unsuitable for baby or young rats without additional wire modifications. The doors could be larger to facilitate cleaning and decorating, but they are manageable. The most significant issue is the separate base containing the wheels, which is slightly larger than the cage, causing waste to accumulate in the gap. Moving the cage off a ledge for cleaning requires completely removing it from the base, which can be inconvenient. Alternatively, zip ties can be used to secure the base to the cage, but my rats tend to chew them off.
