56V Lithium-Ion 24 in. Cordless 2-Stage Snow Blower Kit (7.5 Ah)

I tried it out once when I got it and it started right up after I assembeld it, which also was not that hard and I did it alone. I have yet to need it since it is still fall and we have had no snow, but I suspect it will do great. I am super happy that I do not have to deal with gas snowblowers anymore.

Love it! Easy to maneuver, the batteries hold a charge well, and it gets through the snow well. We've plowed up to 18" so far. Only negative is that there was a bit of rust on the front scoop area after year 2, which we sanded out and repainted. We will have to make sure we don't leave any snow in the scoop area after using.

Worked like a champ against tons of snow. Even the slushy snow piled up by street plows, this unit moved it like a champ. Could have used the 10ah batteries but wasn't willing to spend the money for the upgrade.

A few quirks but a lot of advantages. It will "overload" if you take too large a swath too fast but you can hear the change in pitch to adjust your speed. Sometimes the wheels lock when stopping forward engaged motion to pull backward but because it's so light and it only takes a slight push forward to unlock them, it is a minor concern. Machine is much lighter and much quieter. Putting in the batteries is more user friendly than gassing up and 2 x 10Ah batteries have been sufficient for 1800 sq ft driveway with about 300cm (just under 10ft) of snow in 2 months. It takes less time and less effort than previous gas snowblower from Ariens purchased new in 1999. Having 4 x 10 Ah batteries turns out to be overkill but I wouldn't get smaller batteries.

Performed as advertised in New England cold climate. Handled heavy snow storm a few weeks ago and then got through a very wet low accumulation yesterday. Did get a little bogged down with the very wet snow but I brought out the TroyBilt 24” 2 stage and it had the same issues. Battery lasted despite really laboring and frigid temps. Very pleased with performance and ease of use.

Disappointed purchased theee years ago and only had to use it twice. It broke the second time and is in the shop. Alough it is being covered by warranty the hassle to drive to the shop loading and unloading and the distance to a regeistersld ship was frustrating I do love who products and. Find them overall awesome to use

I've owned this for three weeks now in Wisconsin and have used it several times. Overall, the machine performs well—it throws snow effectively and clears right down to the pavement. However, the battery life is a significant drawback during heavier falls. While it handles light dustings easily, a 6-inch snowfall prevented me from finishing my 1,300 sq. ft. driveway on a single charge. It's frustrating that the machine requires both batteries to operate, especially since one of my brand-new batteries seems to drain significantly faster than the other. I decided to keep it rather than deal with a return, but given the battery limitations, I'm not sure I would purchase this model again.

Batteries that it comes with only last about 20 mins with all the motor speeds set low. Before use I fully charged batteries and kept at room temp. Machine seems ok but batteries are not long lasting. I had to recharge them twice to complete my short 2 car driveway and 150' of residential sidewalk.

In warranty repair 4 days after purchase. No alternative to return to store for replacement. Heaviest snowfall winter we've had in years. Old snowblower broke down so decided to add to our extensive Ego collection. Feeling like it was a big mistake. Still shoots snow but has no forward or reverse drive.

Fine until you need a warranty claim - then they will slow walk you until Spring. My SN2400 broke a gear and I'm still waiting on parts. Plastic gears and an impeller with no shear pin is a recipe for disaster, just ask the other 15 ego snowblowers waiting on the same part at my service center.
