All you need to go with this screen kit is a pair of scissors to cut and install new window screens. It comes with a cutting tool, but I found the scissors more accurate for cutting the screen. I redid two average-sized windows and still have plenty of screen left over to do more. This screen is listed as scratch-resistant, and so far it has lived up to that. From the outside, if the lights are off in the room, the screens provide privacy by reducing visibility into the house. Instructions are included, but of course, you can find videos online if you want to watch how it is done first. I would recommend this kit.

This is a good kit. I fixed two screens and still had enough left for a screen door. The tools were exactly what I needed, and everything worked perfectly.

I saved so much money just repairing the window screen myself using this kit. My 13-year-old son and I replaced 2 separate screens that had damage to them. I really couldn't believe how easy it was and looked pretty professional when we were finished. Took about five or six minutes per screen. Our German shepherd has torn up about 6 of our outdoor screens because she scratches on the windows all the time. This kit will be a life saver..

The tools were used for this really nice however the screen kept tearing when we were security with the rubber strip

I was hoping this would work out for me changing the torn up screens on my windows and I'm certain it would have IF the screen was rolled up as it shows in the picture and placed in a tube to keep it intact. I received this folded into a medium size square and place in a plastic bag shipped. Once I opened and unfolded it, it had rips at almost every single crease. This was useless as I could NOT use it for my big windows. Very disappointed as I can't use it and I'm out the money. PLEASE be aware that you will receive it folded up and not rolled up like in the picture.

The screen tore while splicing it into the frame. There was no reason other than that it's cheap screen. I would not recommend this product.
