We have had one for over ten years and it is still iin great condition. No rust, no cracks. the balde is starting to get a little dull now. That is why I bought a new one. It is the best can operner for seniors, it is very easy to use. My 91 year old mother loves it. It's a little tricky to attach to the can at first but you'll figure it out pretty quick.
I bought one about 20 years ago. My daughter's old can opener broke when she needed to use it with company coming over. I gave her mine to use for the night. She loved it so I told her to keep it. This was about 5 years ago. She still has the can opener I gave her that was mine and it was about 15 years old at the time. It's about 20 years old now and still as grest as the day I bought it. Meanwhile, I've been desperately searching for the same can opener for about 5 yrs. Been to every store possible and also checking online constantly for my good old trusty can opener. I've purchased several over the last 5 yrs and none even came close. Fortunately, last week I found it on Walmarts website. I ordered it right away. By the way, I've spent countless hours on Walmarts website and never saw it before. The can opener came. My 83 yr old father lives with us. He couldn't believe how easy it opened cans. He has arthritis and sometimes gout in his hands. He absolutely loved this can opener. The original one I purchased about 20 yrs ago was used constantly for a family of 6. For it to still work as good as it does today is not something you see anymore in todays world. Love this can opener!
I like how easy it is to use. It's lite weight, compact and I liked it so much, I gave it to my sister and ordered 2 more for me. One for my kitchen and 1 for my git kit.
I had one but it wore out so I was glad to find another one. You can't get them in any store that I've seen.
I have used it only twice and it was perfect for those two needs.
It is a cute and very useful utensil. It is light and has s3versl features also.
