6 in. 14 HP Kohler Engine Towable Chipper Shredder with Electric Start and Cyclonic Drum

Incredible chipper, I have nothing but great things to say. Easily eats through anything under 5”, it will chip 6” but a little slower. Power is incredible, it does not disappoint.

Just a solid unit. Packaged well and assembly was straight forward. I am impressed with the construction and ease of moving it around once assembled. Hitch sleeve has some play so I may shim with some fender washers but overall a great design.

My experience was excellent from start to finish. I called first to ascertain that my purchase would be delivered via truck with a lift gate because my purchase was 400 lbs. plus. It is delivered with a lift gate. The item was delivered well within the estimated delivery range. The order was delivered on a semi-trailer with a lift gate. The driver and I had to work together for a solution to where to drop my order as I do not have a paved driveway. He did not wish to have his tractor stuck in the sandy soil which I totally understand. We worked it out that he just backed far enough into my driveway so that his tractor wheels remained on the pavement. This was satisfactory to both of us and it worked out fine. A shout out to Estes Freight Co. for keeping me aware of my order from origin to delivery, and thanks to the Estes driver. A true professional.

Really like the chipper but your claim of 6” chipping capacity is quite misleading at it's best I would say 3” is the most this machine can handle without stalling out the engine

This is the third chipper I have purchased from this company. One was manual start and the other two electric start. The units are reasonably well built, probably for light duty, but each unit arrived damaged in some way due to inadequate packaging. The shipping feet fall off and parts either go missing or are damaged as they grind on the floor during shipment. In each case I was able to repair the unit but this shipping crate is just not up to the job. Once assembled the units work well, but when jams occur the nut you need to turn to remove jams becomes easily worn and damaged. The bearings on my first manual unit also failed completely after two years of use. On the plus side when the unit is running it does a great job.

3 years ago quirky branches cause drum to get stuck . Unit will do up to 5.5 inches diameter . Motor starts good even after setting up for months . Drum welds failing

It won't even cut a 3" limb, don't 6 buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
