This auger is exactly what I needed. I do not have occasion to dig post holes often, and I like that it is light weight and easy to use. I have a regular clam shell post hole digger, but at my age I find it more taxing than I like. I don't need a powered unit that might get away from me Nice and easy does it for me.

Nice Light Duty hole digger. Not a Heavy Duty Post Posthole digger. Light duty for potted plants and such.

It seems to be a good product, however the diameter is 4".

The spiral is barely welded to the post, so on the first day of use, when I applied a bit more force to dig, it broke
