Good quality food. Tinny looking noodle out of the box but great size and taste after cooking in boiling water and drained. In my opinion, these would also make great Chowmain Noodle dishes for orintal food dishes as well as for traditional spaghetti.
I really don't know if there's a difference in spaghetti. I buy this brand because it sounds Italian. LOL. I do like the flavor of mixing my noodles half white and half whole wheat.
Great pasta. Our children's doctor said to change them to whole grain pasta to help them digest it better. We definitely see a difference in this is definitely tasty and will be buying again.
Whole wheat spaghetti is a more diabetic friendly option than standard white spaghetti noodles. We have been pleased with the taste and the whole wheat benefits.
Love this pasta. It is perfect for spaghetti and meatballs, but I also love to use it for Thai peanut noodles and soups as well. Great texture and of course contributes fiber.
I love Barilla Classic Pasta. I never use it as a side dish and goes well with any flavoured oil, butter, a bit of salt/pepper. Add a salad, homemade sauce with, or without, meat and dinner is served
I need to lower my cholesterol and blood sugar, so I gave this a try. It's thin, so it cooked very quickly, and I ate it with a standard red meat sauce. It had a definite different flavor from pasta made with white flour, but after jazzing up the dish with red pepper flakes and grated parmesan cheese, it was pretty good. I didn't love it, but it wasn't awful as I'd thought it would be.
If you aren't not used to whole wheat pasta it may be off putting, it lacked flavor even though I added salt, butter a pinch of garlic and Italian seasoning during boiling. I finished with sauteed mushrooms and shrimp over Alfredo sauce. the pasta absorbed all of the sauce and it was still little to no flavor.
I ordered a whole wheat fully cooked pasta as I have no stove and I live in a small apartment and have no real kitchen, but a microwave. I will have to give this to a friend as I am unable to use it. I ordered Penne and Spaghetti and neither one are the cooked type whivh you have as I just looked it up again. So much for that - I wish you had item numbers so AI could be more specific.
Awful! only purchased due to it being " healthier." The worst pasta I ever tasted. like rubber %26 tasteless. I'll stick to regular, normal Italian pasta.
