I love pesto! I make pesto every year and this is pretty good pesto. Other pesto add spinach and other ingredients, etc. But this is simply basil, garlic, pine nuts and olive oil, that’s it. I would highly recommend if you don’t make your own.

I love to add this to the Classico for cheese sauce for spaghetti. I add two tablespoons of spoons to a jar of the sauce after I add the strained meat.

I use it every time I make salmon! Wash the salmon and dry with paper towel, spread a spoonful of pesto over each piece and bake in the oven at 350 for 25 minutes.

This little jar must have an entire field's worth of basil in it because it is packed with so much herby flavor. The combination of high quality olive oil, parmesan, garlic and pine nuts are perfect for elevating many different pasta dishes. This also makes for an incredible spread on bread and sandwiches too. I have yet to try it on pizza but I will when I purchase it again.

This really adds a good flavor added to tuna fish for sandwiches along with grape tomatoes and sweet onion chopped and diced up added to the tuna. This is one of many recipes my husband used to make for me that changed how I made them from then on. Give it a try😊

I used this pesto in our "Slow Cooker Pesto Mozzarella Pasta." The flavor was outstanding, and the size of the jar is sufficient to make many more recipes!

This is the only basil pesto sauce that I use. I have tried different brands and always come back to the Classico Brand. I find it to be a little expensive, so I have opted to try other brands but no other brand that I have tried compares to this in having the perfect blend of basil and olive oil flavor. I have to admit, that I tried to make my own basil sauce and it just wasn't the same.

This pesto was such a delight to find. I can say that this pesto is better than my homemade hand me down recipe I've used for years. I have tried other brands, but this one is top notch! The taste and texture are authentic with just the right amount of basil to garlic ratio. YUM! I spread this on garlic bread, and it is always devoured with many compliments!! Or, I just have a snack with it spread on a slice of sourdough bread or crackers. Plus, it is so good for you! I just wish it came in a larger size! 5 stars!!!!!

The taste was off because the blend of spices was off. it had A LOT of OIL in it more than other brands I've used. The texture was off too. I wasn't able to see what was affecting the texture but it wasn't smooth.
