Work very well in most instances
I've caught a lot of channel catfish, carp, drum, and other fish with these on my line. In a very fast flowing current, 2oz isn't enough to keep my bait in place, but these are sufficient 90% of the time.

These do the trick, when I'm fishing on the river and the current not to strong. Ive caught many cat fish using these sinkers.
