Comes out in a gel, and you rub to foam it up on your face. Great product and I was a customer before this sampling, and will be a customer after the sampling. Smooth close shave! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Edge Gel Lathered very nicely and was instrumental in a good shave. I didn't have to use very much to get a good lather all over my face. So, the can will last a long time. I have used gel in the past and didn't like it, but this Edge Gel has definitely been improved. Very Good Gel.

I can't say that I really understand the point behind using shaving cream/gel in the first place, or what it does.. but it does seem to feel good afterwards.

It gets the job done and is better than some shave gels but for a dollar more you can get Aveeno which in my opinion is a much better product. I would avoid this unless you need it for traveling or don't care if you lose it on any voyages.
