Wow! My wife absolutely loves this lightweight portrait frame/easel to work on her paintings. Quick and easy setup in about 10 minutes. Very sturdy anodized aluminum frame. She loves that it has an upper holding bracket to help keep the picture frame secured as well as the extension piece that allows to adjust the picture even higher if needed. Worth every penny.

It's hard to find affordable sturdy easels that can hold large canvases, and this one is perfect! It has a pretty large footprint, but that's what helps to ensure its stability. I'll buy more!

I got this for half off ($50) and at this price I think it's a great choice. My favorite thing about this is that the bottom support shelf (where the bottom of your canvas rests) can be adjusted as high as you want along the vertical bar, so even small pieces can be raised up to eye level if you're painting standing up. With the wooden A frame easels, the issue I ran into is the support shelf not going up high enough to paint while standing. And with those, the vertical bar goes up as you adjust the height of the shelf, so if it's all the way up, the vertical bar can hit your ceiling. This design doesn't do that. You can move the shelf up, and the overall height of the easel itself stays the same. It's very lightweight and simple to adjust. Could be a good choice for throwing into the car for a trip, or taking it outside, provided it's not windy. It's not as stable as an H frame easel, but it's good enough if you're not going too crazy. It's not the prettiest, but it is practical. I would recommend it.

I bought this to start doing larger paintings. It is pretty sturdy my dog hasn't been able to knock it over yet.

I needed an easel to use to display a sign at a baby shower and I've been wanting an easel for painting anyway so it was a great excuse to get one. I picked this because it was on sale but I'm pleasantly impressed! It was way easier to put together than I expected (just slide the holder pieces on and tighten) and works nicely.

I've bought a bunch of these in my life and they usually work for what I need. This one came with the metal pinched in so the top attachment couldn't fit on. For the price, quality control should've caught that.
