Watch shipping charges!
Be careful with online orders. I could not find garbanzo beans in my grocery store, so I was ordering these online, along with numerous other items. When I was ready to finalize the order, I questioned $13.00 in shipping, as I don't do that!! Here I was being charged almost $6.00 per each of my two $1.00 cans of beans!! I deleted these and I was much more careful about paying a few cents more per can without $13.00 shipping!!

I always have these Goya chickpeas in my pantry. They work very well in everything from minestrone soup to homemade hummus or with added garlic/ginger. Full of protein.

Great for Hummus!
These garbanzo beans/chick peas are great. They are tender (not mushy) and firm (not hard). With some olive oil, splash of acidity (lemon or lime juice, apple cider vinegar, etc.), and seasonings, all thrown in a food processor, they make a wonderful hummus in just a few minutes. I hope to keep a can or two in the pantry from now on!

The cans of GOYA Chick Peas 15.5 oz. cans were damaged when they were delivered to my address. The cans were pressed in and dented.

Banged up cans
Two of the 4 cans I ordered came banged up. I'm not sure if this would cause the contents to be unsafe to eat? Probably okay but I would have hoped to not be given the worse ones
