Great product! I have wasted a lot of money on fresh fruit, i end up throwing away some or alot of it. Im elderly, as a kid we relied on canned fruit, we loved it and i still do. Its a very cheap way to get your fruit fix! I love these pears in heavy syrup...great by themselves or with cottage cheese or salads. GV also has a great price!

I love these pairs they're sweet yet soft not like most fruit items that you get like mixed fruit when you have that hard fruit in it and it is heavy syrup so If you do not like that then get the like syrup or the kind with the juices from the pear

Great value canned fruit is a more affordable way to eat fruit, have canned fruit on hand and is better than name brand.

Nice crispy pear slices nice and juicy too also helps some get moving. Great Value line is amazing too never forget!

The oast two years or so, the quality of these pears have greatly dimished. Now, it is hit or miss. I buy them for my elderly mother, and many times, by the time I cut out the core they left in the pears, and pull out hard stems, and cut brown spots, there is "maybe" 1/2 the can that is edible. Very disappointing.

Only half filled with pears, all the rest was syrup on my first can, if the others are the same I will return them. Pears were a little harder than usual, and weren't peeled very well. Usually I love these!

I bought these because they were a good price, bought too many as it turns out. The pears are under-ripe and very hard, also not very sweet. I suppose they would be alright for cooking, but from the can you better have some good teeth, and not care about sweetness. Very disappointing, will be returning if possible.

i had stopped buying these for a while because they're always bad. But bought 3 cans recently to try again. all three cans had to be thrown out because they were bruised as usual. And harder than apples. I want a refund or exchange for something else. They are guaranteed after all. or theyre supposed to be.

Previous years canned sliced pears were wonderful. This must be a bad season for pears as Great Value and others the pears are so hard most have to be thrown away. Won't buy anymore this season.

The quality of the great value sliced pears, used to be much better than it is now. Unfortunately, now there are a lot of seeds, stringy pieces of pear, and pear that is almost puréed.
