(6 pack) Great Value Cut Green Beans, Gluten-Free, 28 oz Can

I like the family size because one regular sized can just isn't enough for everyone to have some as a side dish. The flavor and quality of these is good. I feel like you might not want to add salt or anything unless you're someone who really really likes salt. These are I think adequately seasoned as is.

I like the fact that those cans were big rather than small. I could eat the whole can add a meal since I'm only one person.. They were just a right amount of crunchy and they blended with anything. I wanted to put them with whether a salad or heat them up and put them butter on them.

They're canned green beans, and they work perfectly for what I use them for. I don't just heat them up though. Here's how I make them, and I've yet to find someone who doesn't like them this way, even people who swear they don't like green beans. Drain them really well, then put them in a skillet with melted butter, diced onions, a tablespoon of minced garlic, and some seasoned salt. Cook them until the bottom starts to brown (right before they burn), then flip and keep cooking until they get a nice glaze. They come out rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Not the healthiest way to eat them, but hey, they're eating their greens, and that's a win.

These great value green beans is a got to for my family. I open the can and pop them in a bow. Add some butter, season salt and garlic pepper. Put in the microwave for about 5 min and they are so yummy!

This size can is a better value than buying two 14.5oz cans. It is is exactly what I needed for my Green Bean Casserole recipe on Thanksgiving. In this dish esp, one cannot tell the difference btw GV %26 $$$ name brands. Taste %26 texture are perfect in this. I did not note any tough or fibrous bits throughout the dish, tender . Very pleased %26 will continue to order.

It's good to have veggies for lunch. For those times when we forget to buy veggies, or that we dont have time to cook, this come handy. Everybody loves them, just add some garlic and they are perfect

Though the green beans have a good taste alone, I still do my usual "fixing-up". However, I have found that the beans tend to be more stringy than other brands. Otherwise a decent product and value.

I am so disappointed in the price and quality of these cans of green beans. The price has gradually increased, and the quantity of each can varies. The quality seems to be "okay", but more and more I'm finding stems throughout the contents. The only reason I continue to buy these cans is because I use the beans to make homemade dog food, and I feed them to my pot belly pigs. They're not as picky as I am, and this size can, even though high priced, is a better (per ounce) value than the smaller (14.5 oz) cans.

I've been buying these beans forever and considered them to be pretty good. But, these were mushy out of the can, and looked nothing like “cut green beans “.
