If you like a smart amount of heat in your chili , taco soup, and you like hot chili's these are one of the best. You don't have to use two or three cans.(just as good as Ro-tel) It does depend on how big of a batch you are going for. For my chili I use 2 cans and for my taco soup I just have to use 1. And I get a lot of compliments on these 2 dishes. And they want to know all the ingredients I use, and this is one ingredient I make sure they know. Because if you like roasted tomatoes , hot chili, and you don't have to add more spices or hot sauce to get the heat. Good stuff, great price for value.Debra W.

I just spotted these recently, and what a deal for fire roasted tomatoes. I think they taste great. I'm using these in all my recipes now. I think they have a bit richer flavor than the originals. I recently used them in keto chicken taco soup, and it tasted like it had been simmering for hours. I think the tomatoes helped.

I am a “Rotel” lover and have used the great value diced tomatoes with green chilies for years. However I decided to buy these for a recipe and I have decided to start purchasing these from now on. These are hotter than the original but it's a good heat and these offer a deeper flavor. It really does make a difference in your recipe. Everything was tasty except a bit more spicy than I care for. Didn't realize these had green chilis (jalapeno), so was more heat than I wanted for pico de gallo recipe. Will get the plain fire roasted variety in the future. It wasn't high heat, just more than I wanted for pico de gallo (which I like mild). Quality was excellent. Tomatoes tasted fresh, and firm. Cost a little more than store brand, but worth the better taste.

Used these tonight in chili and way too spicy, didn't realize it contained green chiles. Very disappointing for me and my children, but could be ok if you like heat.

I thought I picked the Rotel original like I always do. I opened one can just a while ago cause I had t put my stuff up yet and I could tell it wasn't the same and it was way too hot as well so I had to throw the open one in the trash and can't use the other one .

I did NOT order the fire roasted tomatoes with green chilies. I ordered straight fire roasted tomatoes with nothing added! My son can't have green chilies %26 nearly ended up in the hospital! My order was obviously switched by whomever filled the order.
