I like to have this onhand as it is very versati;le for cooking or making a good dip for chips. I used the more expensive big name brand for manyyears and then discovered the Walmart brand and this is my choice now. It has all the flavor and not as expensive.

I like the Great Value onion soup mix / seasoning just as well as the Lipton. It is less expensive, but has the same great taste and robust flavor. I use it to make dips, to season roasts, or even to mix into meatballs. It is definitely a staple item in my pantry.

I always keep the great value onion soup mix on hand for a lot of the recipes I make. I can't tell the difference from the name brand soup mix. It always gives my recipes that special something. Perfect amount of seasoning. I add it to meatloaf, shepherd's pie, hamburgers etc…

I keep this on hand as a seasoning base for many things, soups, stews, recipes, mix into when you're making a meatloaf, you can even mix it into hamburger before you form them into patties and eat cheeseburgers. This is definitely more affordable than the name brand and just as good. It is a pantry staple must.

Kitchen staples !! That's all I can say!! You never know when you may need this for a dish so I like to keep some On hand !! I am pleased with the flavor and quality of the product ! I am Always satisfied! The price is wonderful , you can't beat it !! I will keep these in my pantry !! You can make some many things with it !! Amazing buy !! Easily can compare to the Lipton onion soup mix ! I have plenty of these !

I buy this regularly, I use as a seasoning for about 4 recipes. From dip to seasoning meatloaf, pot roast and few varieties of soup. It's comparable to the popular name brand for less. There are times when I do add some dehydrated onion bits, but it's doesn't deter me from buying.

Buddy. That's right. This luttle box contains a pair of pouches to flavor stuff. I kid you not. Hang on a minute. There's more in store. Yessir. Though each box has only a pair of pouches, they can do more than rack-up higher numbers on the cash register. I'm tellin' ya. You probably already know ways to use this stuff, so I won't delve into that. What far too many folks don't know about this %26 many other "house brand" foods is most are made by the sane factories that produce high-priced items seen advertised on tv, in magazines, etc. Plus, this particular item has nowhere near the pile of mystery chemicals added to the Lipton caldrens when the stuff is made. No joke, Hal. The airlock door will open in 15 seconds. Have a nice life. On top of that news, this is a dollar less than Mr. Fancypants. O yea. Next time you put a roast into a crockpot, sprinkle a pouch or two onto it with the peppers %26 Vidalia onions %26 mushrooms %26 such like that, Pat. I generally use corned beef briskets with the fat on top to baste the meat as it cooketh. Buddy, now that is some fine eating, %26 surprisingly tender. See? You can use this for more than cheese dip.

Keeping in mind, I used it for chip dip, not for soup or seasoning. I said'No' to recommending it because of the saltines. It would be OK as a back up plan for any of the above, just.: sour cream, water, or broth, etc. For 1 or 2 people no, I can't say it would be a good value. Stick to what you know.
