Great as always, what can I say that has not already been said about applesauce. Although, maybe less water?LOL🤣 This stuff is considerably cheaper than the more expensive brand name! Do enjoy!
This Great Value applesauce is our favorite and we buy it weekly. It's not too sweet, just perfect, and the apples always have that great fresh taste. The texture is the way it should be for applesauce. We like eating a little with our cottage cheese and we also enjoy making applesauce oatmeal raisin cookies.
If you don't want to be grossed out by old guy stuff don't read! 1st: I gave it five * cause i like it but it could have less water and more pulp. 2nd: I add cinnamon and brown sugar to mine and love it. YOU don't have to! it's sweet enough by itself and, GV has a cinnamon version. Plus; my doctoring ain't good for my diabetes! 3rd: you can add it to fresh fruit salads for a great taste enhancer! E.g.: GV frozen, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, fresh banana and a 1/2 cup or cup apple sauce. Sweeten if you want.
I can be a snob when it comes to applesauce. I have one that I really liked, but this one has taken the lead. Recently I was sick, I had Walmart and one of the few things I could eat was applesauce. This product had received good reviews on Walmart, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did. It has a smooth rich taste and about half the price of my previous one. Not too sweet, just right. Try it !
I’ve been buying Great Value Original Applesauce again and again because it’s just so easy and delicious! The applesauce has a smooth, natural apple flavor — not too sweet, not too tart — and it’s perfect for snacks, lunchboxes, or even as a quick side with breakfast or pork dishes. I love how versatile it is: my kids enjoy it straight from the cup, I’ll mix it into oatmeal or yogurt, and sometimes I even use it in baking to add moisture. The texture is just right — smooth but still full of real apple taste. For the price and quality, this applesauce is a total no‑brainer to keep in the pantry! 🍏❤️
Overall, this is very good applesauce, although it’s a little watery at times. I wish, though, that you would use a different container because with the ridges inside, it’s impossible to get out all the applesauce. Waste of money, as other reviewers have suggested.
So who likes apple sauce? Everyone likes apple sauce. But we like apple sauce that isn't thin and watery. Great Value sauce has sufficient flavor; neither too sweet nor too tart. But it's so thin and watery! We don't care for soupy sauce so this one's just OK.
I am diabetic. I cannot consume four jars of original. MUST HAVE. UNSWEETENED. NO SUGAR ADDED. MADE THIS CLEAR IN TEXT MESSAGE BUT IGNORED. IF ORDERING UNSWEETENED WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD SHOPPER STICK 4 jars of ORIGINAL??? Could have substituted another NO SUGAR ADDED BRAND??? JUST NOT THINKING. JTG
it was delicious then i realized it wasn't sugar free! was supposed to be unsweetened I'm a diabetic no wonder it tasted so great it was loaded with sugar!! duh issue 🙄
Ordered for pickup this applesauce and it has MOLD on the inside of the product! The product is not opened and has a beat used by date of 12/22/2027! Be cautious and look over your items!!!
