These sweetened coconut flakes come in a generous size resealable bag. I mainly use them for homemade macaroons and they taste amazing. They are consistently of high-quality and nicely shredded without lumps. I like these much better than other brands and will continue to use them.

a good amount in this bag!! lots of uses. not overly sweet but kills a sweet tooth! great zip lock light food safe bag, ( that I reuse! ). snacks, shrimp, cake, cookies, muffins, coconut milk, yogurt parfiet, curry and so many goodies!! its a panty staple. i store in freezer for long term. always handy for that nutty flavor!

This is a repeat purchase and will be purchasing many more. Great taste is real flakes not clumps makes the best pies and cakes and can be lightly toasted for an enhanced flavor. This has never disappointed me.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Baker’s was not available so I chose the great value brand… it worked very well in my recipe and no one in the family noticed a difference. Will buy this brand again.

We wanted to try a copycat recipe for some famous over-priced cookies that are sold every that we can no longer afford. My baking skills were put to test for sure. They turned out looking like factory nightmares but tasted wonderful with the coconut. I will use the rest of this package on some coconut cake which is sounding pretty good right now. I'll purchase another package of GV flakes again!

I use coconut in my health bars so I decided to try this one. It is good and I will probably buy it again to use in other recipes. My only concern is that it is way too sweet so I ended up using less coconut and I also took out any sweet things (like chocolate chips) that I add to my bars. I will also be reducing the sugar in any baking recipe that calls for coconut in the recipe. I wish that they made a low sugar version of this.

These Great Value Sweetened Coconut Flakes are a good buy. The flakes are a nice size, not too fine and not too big, and they have a good sweetness to them without being overly sugary. I've used them in cookies and on top of desserts and they toast up nicely if you want that extra flavor. The bag stays fresh for a while once opened if you keep it sealed up tight. Texture is soft and chewy like coconut should be, not dried out or stale tasting. For the price, this is just as good as the name brand stuff I've bought before. I'll keep this one in my baking supplies from now on.

I bought this to make homemade macaroons dipped in chocolate! This off-brand is just as good of quality as the brand names. perfect for all recipes, baking, and even when making homemade granola! Easy to chew, very fresh and with the perfect sweetness added!

Just opened. It is dry and flavorless. Best by date is December 20, 2026, so more than 10 months away. Very disappointing 😖
