This ziti is really good and cooks up perfectly every time. Honestly, it tastes just as good as the more expensive name brand varieties. Great for baked ziti, pasta dinners, and meal nights without spending extra money. Definitely a good pantry staple!
I bought this to use for baked ziti. It was fantastic. It cooked evenly and held its shape in the dish. It was not at all mushy. It tastes better than more expensive brands. Consistently perfect! Affordable on a family budget.
I’ve always liked ziti because it’s such an easy, no-fuss pasta. The smooth tubes cook evenly and have just the right bite, and they’re perfect for soaking up sauce and melted cheese. When I make baked ziti, the noodles hold their shape and don’t get mushy, which is a big plus. In the photo I made baked ziti with my favorite pasta sauce mixed with ricotta, and mozzarella cheese layered on top, then baked it until the cheese was bubbly and golden. It turned out comforting, cheesy, and full of flavor—exactly the kind of meal my family looks forward to. Definitely a go-to meal in my kitchen, also great for leftovers.
Great Value pasta tastes exactly the same as name brand. It cooks up perfectly every time and hits the spot without draining your wallet. You’d never know that it's not name brand and you save a few bucks. Great alone with spegetti sauce or with butter and Italian spices.
I have been using this pasta for as long as I can remember. Honestly, I cannot taste the difference between this pasta and more expensive pasta. I would definetely recommend.
Great value ziti’s are the only brand that cook quick and perfect for me. They sell the box at an affordable price. As good or better than name brand. I am able to feed the family with just one box. Great value never lets me down.
This is a great for baked ziti. The shape holds the sauce well. There are a variety of Great Value Pasta available. There is usually a recipe on the back of the box for a quick meal option. These are quality affordable pastas.
the cheapest box of dried pasta is what I always purchase. gone are the days when two boxes were always a $1, and those four or five for a $1 'sales' from the 1990s and early aughts. it seems like most inexpensive dried pasta boxes are about the same price anymore (.77 ¢ or .88 ¢), although some companies are reducing amounts from 16 ounces (a pound) down to 12 ounces now which is pitiful. I grabbed eight boxes of these.
Pros: Nice Chew! Good Bite. Cooks Quickly! (In A Reasonable Non stick Pan) Fills Out In A Medium Tubular Size Cooked In Water or Liquid. Good Alternative To Elbow Macaroni For Macaroni %26 Cheese! Good For Baking. Excellent Value For At Least 3-4 Small-Medium Servings! Cons: None👍🏼✅️
Cook a 1/4 lb of pasta for about 20 minutes . Drain and return to pot. Add seasonings to taste, stir once or twice Now add a can of Great Value tomato sauce. i use the no salt version. simmer 5 minutes and you have 2 healthy tasty and easy to reheat dinners.
