Discontinued to make Great Value the "cheapest"
Yup, I used to buy these all the time, but Walmart (at least my local store) stopped carrying these and only sells their Great Value brand for nearly TWICE as much. I doubt this review will be posted for obvious reasons, but we're on to you Walmart. There are alternatives if you don't want my business.

Clean source of protein
The lentils are a reasonably priced source of protein. They can be seasoned and cooked to taste in a wide range of recipes that don't require overnight soaking. I appreciate the producers consistent attention to quality, which results in a reliably clean legume.

These are so clean when you look them there is hardly any waste. They cook great for my daughters favorite dish

these lentils are very very mild and taste you can use them in everything you cook for protein and they're not going to change the the flavor balance in anything that you make.
