I've eaten these many times before. They were available at my usual grocery stores, but no longer. Found them at walmart.com, so I ordered a dozen. Will order some more later as my supply dwindles. This brand is less salty than others. I prefer less salt, and anyone else can add more. Although the instructions say to stir in one egg, I always add two. Many times I just want soup for a meal rather than something heavy, and this fits the bill just right. It's just a packet of seasoning (I have to add the hot water and eggs), but it eliminates me having to stock the components and get their portions correct. It's easy. It's tasty.

Loved the savory flavor. Very satisfying for a different kind of soup option but in trying to buy again I saw the same soup that I bought foe $1.9?'is listed at $10 ? and the repeat reviews have customers aghast because thet believed that they were buying several packs but they got ONE and pais 10 dollars for one little pouch of soup mix. Needless to say they are kicking themselves. Ive tried back for days and there's been no price update so guess Ill wait.

my son is a egg drop soup fanatic...can eat about half a dozen bowls per sitting but it has to be good soup...and this one he loves so I ordered it again

If you ever went to a sit down Chinese restaurant back in the days before buffets, this egg drop soup will remind you of those days. It is easy to prepare and authentic to the taste. Well done Kikkoman.
