This is a great product, I have used it for years, It is the best tasting, HOWEVER, I DID NOT LIKE THE WAY IT WAS PACKAGED. IT WAS NOT IN A BOX, CARTON, ETC. BUT IN A SOFT BAG AND SEVERAL OF THE BOXES WERE QUITE BEAT UP. I CHECKED FOR LEAKS, FOUND NONE, HOWEVER NEXT TIME PUT IT IN A BOX.

A well flavor even with NO salt blends well with anything added to it and brings out the flavor of soups, gravy. Cooking veg on there own helps their flavor come out rather than just salt. Makes soups wonderful use instead of water same with gravies.

I bought this to replace high-sodium, preservative laden broths (Such as Nitrates). I just made a batch of chicken stew with this, %26 it came out excellent. Great Flavor, good mouthfeel, and the price isn't bad. Bottom line, it's one of the healthier choices out there...

Though it wasn't what I ordered (WM made a LOT of substitutions) it worked for the task at hand. I was able to control the saltiness of my dish on my own since this was a lower sodium option. Tasted just fine.

I try to always buy the unsalted Kitchen Basics chicken stock. I use it for making soups and casseroles plus cooking chicken. For people who have to watch their salt use, this is a very good option.

I made a great soup with this stock and it was just right. The combination of flavorful vegetables and meat along with the unsalted stock/broth provided a smooth, robust, and hearty homemade soup.

Recommended for low sodium, heart-healthy diets. This is a good basic soup starter. I like it with chick peas, dash seasoning, pumpkin puree, and onion or shredded cabbage.

I use it all the time, even make gravy with it. I freeze it in ice cube trays and keep it frozen until I need to use it.

I like the fact tha this is unsalted. I couldn't find it on the shelves at Walmart so I had to order it online. The reason I only gave it three stars is because when it was delivered several of the boxes were damaged ( not enough to leak from the box but enough to make me regret ordereing it online). I expect people who deliver the items I order to take care to make sure they handle what I paid for properly and not treat it like it is ok to kick it around the block a few times. Unexceptable handling. The product itself is good.

I ordered this for pick-up from my local Walmart. I have a wheat allergy and purchased it because the package is clearly labeled gluten free. The product I received does not have the gluten free labeling and the ingredients list is different. The online list includes yeast, the physical product includes honey but no yeast. I can't eat the one I received because it does not have gluten free labeling. This feels like a bait and switch and I wasted my money on this product.
