STRONG CLIP
I have gone back to roller shades. I wasn't so sure this was going to stay on to the roller shade due to the price. I have a double window roller shade with only one of these on there. It holds on extremely well to my surprise. It's nice, inexpensive, and keeps the shade clean in that area.

I had bought several of the Mainstay **** in. Clear Roller Shade Hem Grips from another source some time ago. I recognized the superiority of the product, but when I went to buy enough more for the rest of my windows there were only two places that had them, Walmart and another major chain. Walmart's price was less than half the other dealer (88¢ vs. something like $2.50 each). The product I got from Walmart was the same as what I got originally, down to the packaging and the label. I couldn't be more satisfied!

I use these plastic shade grips to keep my roller shades clean. I roll my shades up/down daily and although they are cleanable, these grips keep dirt and grease from accumulating in an area that is touched 2-3 times per day. Over time, they weaken in the bottom curve and break, but they last for several years before that happens and are inexpensive and easy to reorder. They do exactly what I need them to do!

Brittle but works!
I would give this product a five star review because it does work and was easy to install, but when I parted the top part to slide it on to my roll up shade, the bottom part cracked, due to what I believe was brittle material. It still works though and makes pulling down the shade so much easier!

Sun may cause the grip to fail after a year or two
Went on easily, looked nice, functional. However, they may be susceptible to UV rays. I've had two fail so far on the sunny side of the house. They break at curved portion at the bottom of the grip.

These 6 had a price tag on them 50 cents each clearance yellow tag, but I was charged 1.00 each.
