I am seriously impressed with this Hibachi Chicken & Rice Seasoning Mix! This was such an easy sauce mix, just added water and soy sauce and it thickened up nicely; lots of compliments for the big flavor! I sauteed it with green onions, chanterelles and red pepper. I got it for free in exchange for writing the review but I will be buying it again for quick and easy dinners. Glad I had the opportunity to try it, I'm sensitive to spicy food but this wasn't too spicy at all. It'll be a staple in my spice cabinet here on out!

I tried this seasoning packet for dinner with chicken and veggies and let me tell you it was so good and so easy. I love the flavors of savory and bit sweet I served it over rice and it was delicious.

Good stuff! A little salty but overall a quick, easy weeknight dinner for my husband and son. I used beef instead of chicken and it was delicious. I git a couple bites, before they inhaled it. Unfortunately, hubby and son dug in before I got a picture.

Thank you Simply Asia for allowing me to get a free sample of your product and give an honest review. My family and I decided to use this mixture with steak instead of chicken (as shown on package), as it listed you could use it on any meat you wanted. We followed the very clear directions on how to prepare this, it was very simple. We choose to make chow mien instead of doing rice and to add homemade cheese wontons to make it an authentic meal. Once all mixed together and assembled on our plates, we all dug in to try this new recipe. It was flavorful and we liked the way it flavored the vegetables and complimented the steak. It went well with chow mien but next time we will try it over rice. It was a quick, easy and simple meal to put together. We will have to test out what other flavors Simply Asia has. We are huge sesame ginger fans so this was a perfect meal for us, great for the busy weeknights when you're short on time...and patience! Thank you for giving us quick easy options Simply Asia!

As far as premixed seasoning mixes go, we liked this one. It's simple to use, tastes decent and hits the right notes. I thought it was a bit on the salty side, but I can be a bit picky about that. It's definitely nice to save the effort of making something from scratch but it didn't blow us out of the water either, but good enough for a quick weekday meal.

I received this Hibachi chicken & rice seasoning packet for free from BzzAgent to try and give my honest opinion. This was very easy to follow as far as directions. I did notice that the scent of the seasoning in the packet almost made me change my mind about using it. It has a strange almost chemical scent that one of my kids said reminded them of lighter fluid. I did mix the sauce and taste a bit of it before actually adding to my chicken and it was just ok. I went ahead and prepared it according to the recipe and served over steamed rice. Out of the 6 of us that ate it, it was about 50/50 as far as them liking it or not. I would say that the flavor was just okay, not great, but not bad. I'm not too much knowledgeable about how hibachi should taste, so I can't say how authentic it was to that flavor profile. If the price was low enough then it is a nice option to keep in the pantry rather than a bottle of marinade or similar product. Since it is a dry seasoning, the shelf life of the one I received is 18 months.

I was excited trying this, but it was really bland. It had a charcoal flavor but nothing else I could really taste. I used a bag of stir fry veggies, brocolli florets and fresh bell peppers. I'll have leftovers so we'll see if it gets more flavor sitting overnight. Right now, I dont think I will buy this again.

This doesn't taste like any hibachi I ever had. Why does it have a smoky flavor? My family did not enjoy it.
