Sparkle Outdoors!
I really like the shape of these glass gems but was a little disappointed in the color, as they really didn't look "red" to me but more of a burgundy or maroon. I used them anyway though as I know from prior experience, that these things will last for years and I wanted something durable as I was using them in an outdoor landscaping project.

Had high hopes, but very disappointed.
The description of the gems is correct about them being glass, and the color in the photo represents them well, however it was not disclosed that the gems/nuggets are not that red color of GLASS. They are a painted on finish, and not only is it unevenly applied to the individual pieces, but it is sometimes partially incomplete, leaving the underlying clear glass exposed, and the applied coating can be rubbed off quite easily. The product is completely unusable for my stained glass work needs.

PAINTED BEADS! DO NOT USE FOR ANIMALS.
I got these to add some flair to my pet's enclosure. To disinfect them, I soaked them, only for an oily film to appear on the top. Bad sign! Scratched at it with my nail, paint easily scraped off. I cannot find any website stating what these beads are painted with either, which makes me suspicious they definitely shouldn't be used around pets.

not red or any color, more kind of speckled
They're not red at all.. I can't actually say there maroon either because what ever color they put in the rock is more clear than anything.It looks like the color of the rock or pebble is speckled or splashed on, but its not fully colored .Any other rocks look beter than this..It looks like the rocks are the ones that should have been pulled out of the assembly line for zero color .

Only use if you are not going to get them wet. When wet the paint comes off. But you will have clear if needed.
