i was buying this faithfully..till i switched to the Great Value spring water gallons! Same crisp clear taste and alot cheaper..i love it I ll never go back to the Poland Springs and I have to add Im VERY PICKY about my water
Next to icelandic water, this is the second best water out there. poland Springs is a trusted company. As far as I'm concerned, I NEVER had an issue with them. Their water, their products or their service. good company good water.
With given this product, top marks for taste and after taste. We have rated only four stars for quality because of packaging when delivered. Many of the bottles have been delivered with the tops of the containers, pushed in, which makes it very hard to unscrew the top for seniors. Once you have managed to unscrew the deformed top, the spring water does not flow smoothly into our glass pitcher. As a result, quite a bit of water, ends up on the counter rather than in the picture, a considerable inconvenience and waste.
The water is perfect. The 3 liter jugs are not so great. Cost basically the same as a gallon in other stores so value is down. Tbe most annoying is the tops are almost always pushed in so they poor terrible and you lose water. The handle area is also frequwntly deformed.
I order ahead of time and subscribing so that I can get the 2 1/2 gallon containers and I order eight of those so when they send me the small containers we have so many and it’s such a pain if it continues and we don’t get the 2 1/2 gallons. I’ll have to find somewhere else to get them.
While the water seems fine, these containers are awful, especially for seniors! They are hard to handle, especially for seniors! I much prefer the handled jugs!
The new bottles are terrible. 10 of the 12 bottles I ordered arrived with the tops squished down. I had to use pliers to lift the cap up to be able to open them. The original gallon bottles were much better s they didn't squish like these do. Please Poland Spring return to the primal gallon jugs.
1) Bottles are always CRUSHED and almost impossible to open ! They are crushed both in the store and for delivery. I have complained many times and it seems to fall on deaf ears. 2) Also ,they are on the top shelf of every Walmart and almost impossible to reach. I have stopped buying this product after many years of purchasing for the above two reasons. Do not make the mistake of buying crushed bottles as they are almost impossible to open.
I've gotten nothing but bottled with the top smashed into the bottle. kinda like the cap is a turtle trying to pull in his head for protection. you can't even open it without losing half of it. my only option other than bringing it back every time I order it is to open over the sink, mind you you can just about twist the cap off. takes quite of bit of power to get it off because you can barely get your fingers around it to do so. then i pour it into the one bottle I have thats not smooshed. do i lose water, yes you do but unless you wanna return it every time, its the only work around. other than the smooshed cap I do like the water. i get the 16 oz ones and use these to refill stainless steel cups or glases or whatever youre drinking it out of and take the 16 oz ones when i feel like it. but it'd be stupid to open a 16 oz bottle to pour into another bottle....
refused item it wasn't ordered or put as a substitute it's wayover priced and half the size that was ordered Walmart makes bad name for the bad overpriced things it trys to shove down customers wallets anything Walmart tries to sub over your choice is always expensive and rotten don't trust
