(6 pack) Prego Italian Sausage and Garlic Meat Sauce, 23.5 oz Jar

Just empty this sauce on leftovers and reheat... or add to anything that you can cook fast, e.g. in ten minutes:like pasta or frozen bits of chicken, or even frozen vegetables and you decorate the plate with hard eggs or with a simp[e omelette (fresh eggs beaten with a fork and cooked over a spoon of butter. The sauce is already spiced.

Discovered this product several years ago. Love the taste and texture. All I do is add a pound of cooked hamburger – simmer for a few minutes – and it's ready to put over my spaghetti. All the other sauces I have tried before have to have other spices added. The Prego, Italian sausage and garlic sauce is ready to go and does not need enhancing.!

When making lasagna,add a sauce like Prego Italian Sausage and Garlic meat sauce like you would pick out for a pizza to get your ‘tomato' flavor (plus) and therefore, avoid canned tomatoes which are often ‘bitter' having picked up the ‘can' taste. If you still prefer tomatoes, just go with fresh tomatoes out of the produce section of the store or, if your a gardener, from your garden.. I ALWAYS have 10 fresh tomatoes from produce and/or my garden just for recipes that would be delightful with (good tasting) tomatoes; I try to have plenty of fresh tomatoes handy. But if I have no fresh tomatoes, this Prego meat sauce does fine on its own. Besides the convenient storage of being shelf stable and not needing refrigerated til after the can is open (always store either in glass which is best or plastic-never the can!). Note: Tomatoes are extremely healthy for a person but ESPECIALLY healthy for men and their prostates! If you want ‘to do it' long after other's can't, eat LOTS of tomatoes! And if growing your own, the darker the tomato, the better for your health ( more of the ‘good stuff'-lipopene I think). For my garden, I choose Cherokee tomatoes which not only are ‘darker' than the usual' red tomato with its more ‘earthly' flavor but also grows taller (6-7 feet tall!) and produce even MORE and BIGGER tomatoes! Cherokees are a BEAUTIFUL tomato that really will produce for you, especially with your health! Do not share my image or any identifying elements-keep my identity anonymous.-Thank you!

This Prego sauce is very tasty and delicious . I think one of the better sauces that Prego makes. With that said, be mindful of the sodium/salt because the portion size listed on the jar is 2 tablespoons. If you're on a low sodium diet, you might want to consider another option. With that said, I recommend this sauce.

I used this a few months ago and was so surprised that the flavor was so good. I have bought nothing sense. I used it in golash. It made the dish amazing with flaavor. I had some baked ziti given to me. It was a little dry and I added this sauce. Again so amazing. You need to try it. No words can describe how good it is.

This is one of my two favorite pasta sauces I use it on ziti, angel, hair, and other pasta, and sometimes add additional onions and mushrooms to its excellent sausage flavor.

Been purchasing this for years, it's my family's favorite. When we want spaghetti, we reach for Prego. It comes in several different flavors, so lots to choose from. We like the Italian sausage.

For bottled sauce it was okay. I prefer another brand but it was not available that day. It was fresh enough but lacked that satisfaction when eating - not exactly sure why - but I will not buy it again, that's just me being picky. I thought it would have a sausage flavor or even tidbits, but no luck! The jar looked nice, and was readily available. If you "doctor it up" with some meat and maybe a good sized onion, it could be much tastier.

Prego pasta sauce is delicious!! Unfortunately, delivery from FedEx is horrific! Every time my product are either damage or broken!
