I have an aerogarden that I have used for many years. It works great, but you are confined to 7 or 9 (depending on which one) places to germinate whatever you are growing. This gives you the same ability, but with a lot more "cells" to plant. I will still use my aerogarden for the hard to germinate seeds, but this will be a much quicker way to start my garden next spring.

Super fast delivery. Seeds came up much faster than using cups without the cover and heat mat. The fact that this kit had everything all in one, including the small planting tools was so convenient. Good quality for the price.

This comes with everything except the dirt and seeds! The little tools are super cute and practical! The one that has a cone-type point is especially helpful, as it means I no longer need to use my finger to poke holes in the dirt. Furthermore, I can write on the cone to inducate 1/4" deep, 1/2" deep, etc. allowing for more precise planting.

This kit is basically a miniature greenhouse for starting your own seeds indoors. It comes with six trays, each with 12 little sections for planting seeds. It's good for people who want to get a head start on gardening, or who live in places where it's too cold to plant seeds outside yet. The trays themselves are made out of plastic and have drainage holes in the bottom, so you won't accidentally drown your plants. They also come with clear lids that you can use to trap moisture in and create a mini greenhouse effect to help your seeds germinate. Each pods are little small size, but good size for any seed starting.

This is a great starter set for growing seeds. I love that it has the mat which helps to keep it in the right temperature zone. The domes help to keep moisture in and I'm excited to see what grows.

This was easy to put together and to operate. I love that each try isn't too crazy big and doesn't take up a lot of room since space is limited. The heat pad works wonderfully.

In just a few short weeks I have nicely started seeds. The heating mat for the seed starters seemed to really help the seed grow quickly. Love how easy it is!

I loved everything in this kit. I would have liked for the heat mat to have temperature control. Other than that, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great for starting smaller groups of specialty plants.
