The G.E.A.R. Essential Grooming Kit is one of the best kits I've tried. I received this grooming kit to test and evaluate and I find it is well worth purchasing and I would buy the G.E.A.R. Essential Grooming Kit. I was not aware of G.E.A.R. before participating in this program and happy I was offered to test it. I do so recommend G.E.A.R. Essential Grooming Kit to others. Tried to hit the middle of the road gift of mani/pedi at the salon, given C19 NOT... and my word was that gift.... so the Basic Care Kit for Men was simple, not too much, basic, travelable, not his intimate, but it's an intimate gift... so is sitting next to someone barefoot, and showing that skin, and lack of pretty.... this was a godsend choice all, I mean all the way around for a guy friend. Now will he believe me about the lifetime sharping option -- that's it's real!!! Best part of Tweezerman.

Great all around product. you can definitely find something that will do the job and not cost as much, but my philosophy is: "if its well made, and well designed, pay a little more." Everything I purchased works great, and seems to be made to last for a long time. Win/win.

The quality and craftsmanship on these tools are really top notch and work very well. I am impressed with how well the tools work. Fingernail clippers and scissors are some of the best I have ever used. The only drawback is the case, it is a little flimsy and does not hold tools in place. This kit is perfect to keep and maintain perfect grooming of nails and stray nose hairs. Precision, well crafted products are easy to use and clean. My only gripe is with the nail file. It's a good size, but the actual "file" is small and limits what you can do with your nails.

The leather case is not worth having. It doesn't keep the items secure and make it easy to lose the majority of the items. I kept the items and pitched the case. Normally totally satisfied with your products, but the case is a strikeout. Hope you fix the problem for others who purchases this set.

decent quality tools, but the case they come isnt the best. the design of the flap means that the tools fall out of the side of the case, so if its loose in a purse or travel kit, tweezers etc end up in your bag.

Slant or pointed slant tweezer would have been more forgiving when trying to pluck hairs from behind the tragus flap near sideburn) of the ears. Point tweezer is difficult if not impossible to use in that area, and set assumes scissor trim will suffice for ears.

These tools are very well made. The nail file doesn't work with very short nails because the plastic surround prevents close filing. As other reviewers noted, the case design is poor and tools can fall out easily which is a real shame because the idea of a set of tools that would travel and store well was what appealed to me about this set.
