He might have rather just paid to have the tub replaced, but this wasn't too bad and will tide us over until a bigger bathroom renovation.

Paint was easy to use and seemed to dry pretty quick. The one thing I didn't like was the horrible smell it had and the smell lingered for a few hours. A can seemed to go a long ways with what was in it and covered sink well and after drying it didn't come off even while running water and the paint has stayed in tack through all our sink use.

Instead of replacing them I opted to use Rust-Oleum Tub and Tile Re-finishing spray paint. It's a unique epoxy that bonds to porcelain and ceramic with great adhesion and durability in high moisture areas. Did the trick!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tested this outside on some unprepped tile, it has a strong fume smell so I am not sure how I would use it in the bathroom I would like to refinish esp with animals in our home. The tile I test outside does seem like it scratches if you really want to scratch it but I did not properly prep it first. I think it's a cheaper alternative to demoing your bathroom but you need proper ventilation

Little did I know that it takes 3 days to dry completely and it also runs. It didn't turn out the way I was hoping it would and it ended up being messy. I wish I had researched more before closing this product. It does the coverage and makes it shine, you just need to make sure you have a 2nd shower to use when you do this
