Nice Hem Finish
I used this to lengthen an overskirt of a swimsuit. It was visible from the outside of the garment, and gave me that little bit extra length I wanted in order to feel comfortable around the pool. I have also used this to lengthen pant hems, by opening up the hem, pressing, sewing the hem lace to it, then turning up the hem lace and slip-stitching it to the inside of the garment. You gain the width of the hem in length this way. It's always worked great for me, in the different applications I have used it for. Doesn't shrink or fade, and easy to work with.
