Socks for very well, not too tight where they cut off circulation and not too loose where they slide down. Thickness is good, not too thin so your feet are still protected and not too thick that you have to buy a larger size shoe.

TUBE SOCKS!! Yes, over the calf, and good quality so far. Hard to find tube socks in stores nowadays, kids dont wear work boots anymore.

The socks are OK. The top stretches out within a few months, then won't stay up, but they're comfy.

When size alone isn't enough
These socks are not well made, they have tuffs of threads at the toe seam. The fabric is thin, so not a cushioning sock at all. The inside feels rough against my feet and is not pleasant. The socks do seem to have good elastic and stay up on my calf. I was happy to find a sock in the larger range of shoe/foot sizes (10-15), but size alone isn't enough.
