Pretty and durable
I love this planter. Am using for flowers and herbs, but could be used for anything you'd like to plant. Very sturdy and beautiful brick color. Put succulents on top tier.

Planting herbs
Drains well, easy to water, sturdier than I expected. Love the wheels, makes it easy to move out of the hot sun, or to protect it in bad weather.

This is a very small and rather cheaply made tower planter that falls over way too easy. There isn't enough soil to stay hydrated in Florida summers. Tried to grow strawberries, herbs and flowers in them and they all die rapidly. Do yourself a favor and buy something bigger and more robust.

Water Retention
The description gave the planter better than what you got explanation. It doesn't retain the water in the upper levels—plenty of water in the bottom planter.

Not the best quality
Shorter then I thought doesn't even come waist high and I'm only 5'2”,pictures show center wooden rod and there isn't one not very stable
