It's soft with a slight firmness,but so so comfortable and it is water proof.You can remove the water proof cover using the zipper underneath,and washing it isn't difficult at all,for when an accident does happen.*I would recommend it if you have kiddos or pets.

perfect for top bunk!
Was worried about the quality given the price and buying online. when it showed up, it was rolled up and vacuum sealed. once unwrapped and unrolled, it took about 2 hours for the mattress to fully expand. I am very impressed with the quality and happy with my purchase! Bought for a top bunk and it works perfectly!

It's perfect for both of my kids I bought them both each one , my daughter is 8 and my son is 4 and I've slept on it and it holds weight super comfortable!

NOT a waterproof cover
This mattress is advertised as having a waterproof cover, but the cover is NOT waterproof. I specifically bought this because it was stated to have a waterproof cover, but it was not effective and now the mattress is ruined with a urine stain/odor from my toddler.

when you lay on it you can feel the boatds of the bed under you , not comfortable at all .
