60" Thermal Resist Silver Heat Resistant Fabric by the Yard (5301S-2B)

I finished making my 'large' ironing board yesterday and used it today to iron 6 1/2 yds. of 43" material this morning. It seems to work like a charm. Much cheaper to make your own ironing board and cover than buying one.

My ironing board needs a makeover and this is great.

Pleased with purchase. Material is identical to that used on early model ironing boards. Reflective of heat and durable. Very satisfied with product and delivery.

I needed a pad for a griddle and grill to use on kitchen counter and this fabric is perfect to make one with.

I bought 3 yards of this material to recover a 24 inch by 72 inch ironing surface for my sewing/quilting room. I ironed the material to remove the wrinkles that were in it from being folded up in the package for mailing. Don't iron on the wrong side of the fabric as it was shrinking from the high heat of the iron. I turned the heat down a little and ironed the shiny side. The material did not show any signs of shrinking with the reduction of heat and ironing from the top side. Wish there had been information on the care recommendations of this fabric.

The fabric is very thin and poor quality, I cannot use it for my original purpose.
